Zoom video conferencing (native app)

Sat May 30, 2020 5:24 pm

I know there is a related thread, but the answers in that thread went into a different direction of running the web version. Here I'd like to discuss whether it is possible to run the native app on Raspberry Pi.

Zoom does not provide an app for Linux on ARM, however they do for Android on ARM. I understand that it is possible to run Android, so...in theory, it should be possible to run the native Zoom app on Android, running on Raspberry Pi.

Thoughts?

Yes try it yourself, and add to this post your successes and failures, so other users can understand the feasibility.

Though as the LineageOS based version of Android does not include Google Play Store you will need the Zoom .APK file...
