Why would it? AFAIK, it's x86 only. There is no Pi version.

You might be able to run it the x86 version with box86 and qemu
windows 98 and macintosh 9 have been able to run in virtually through qemu on raspberry pi 4
Well Linux Mint could possible work on raspberry pi 4 if configured correctly
If you want linux mint like expierence get ubuntu mate for pi 4
Ubuntu Mate is like Linux Mint desktop enviroment is similer
I would immagine Linux Mint could someday be compatible with raspberry pi
And it ending up on raspberrypi.org is likely if it become official project made by Linux Mint
but if it is an unofficial version of mint its unlikely to end up in downloads it will probably be in a fourm availble to download
I think linux mint is possible for pi4 and possible pi 3 only since linux mint is planning to cut 32bit support in linux mint 20
On the pi2 ubuntu is really crappy and not worth using
Pi3 can run ubuntu mate and is ok
Pi4 can run most ubuntu flavors well

Unless you've done it youself or actually seen it working, please don't post things like that as they really don't help the OP.

Total rubbish, the OP wanted Linux Mint ( though not what variant / release stated ), not some Frankenstein hacked version
