Raspberry Pi 4B not booting

Mon May 04, 2020 9:32 am

Hello,

first of all, I am new to this forum, but I have a problem I could not solve even though I contacted my Raspberry supplier.

When I try to boot my Raspberry Pi 4B, it just does nothing. No HDMI output and the ACT-LED turns off after 2 seconds. Furthermore I could not identify a failure code from it. That's why I attached a link to two videos of the LEDs of the Raspberry so maybe one of you could see something that I did not.
When I connect the Raspberry without an SD-Card to power, the ACT-LED blinks normally four times.

I already tried another SD-Card and a different Raspbian Buster. I use the official 5.1V/3A power supply.

Here is the link to the two videos:

I hope someone could help me fix this problem.

First suspect has to be the way you are putting Raspbian on the card.

I am using Win32DiskImager and two different adapters, that both worked with my Raspberry Pi 3B.

Perhaps your diagnosis or assumption is wrong and the RPi4b board is booting into Raspbian, but the default screen resolution is incompatible with your display, resulting in no output to the display?

LOTS of prior posts about that in these forums.

Yes, I know, that there are lots of posts already, but none of them helped me.
I do not think, that it is booting, because the ACT-LED does nothing after it turns off right after powering. As far as I know, the ACT-LED shows SD-Card accessing so if it does not blink, it did not boot properly. Maybe I am wrong.
