Possible to do live translation with raspberry pi?

It's been asked of me to attempt to get live captions on a livestream translated via machine as we don't have anyone available to write these captions live.

We currently have a Pi using Microsofts translate website to do live translation for people who want to pull up the room on their phone but this does not output anything I can overlay on a live stream.

What I would need is a text output on a solid color background (preferably green or blue) that could be chroma keyed out to be overlayed on our current video feed as we are currently doing with English subtitles on our songs. I'm open to other options as well I just don't know any other options.
