Use Pi + TV as a Wireless Monitor

Fri May 01, 2020 1:02 am

Is there a way to make the Pi + TV as an extended wireless screen of my computer? I know we can see the Pi desktop on the computer, but how about we use Pi to see our computer screen? Even make it an extra extended screen. Is there a way to do that?

Thanks

That only shows Pi's desktop on the computer, I am asking the reverse way.

You've got it reversed. fruitoftheloom is correct.

You could use an RDP client to remotely access your PC via remote desktop

sudo apt install xrdp

Otherwise the previous VNC instructions work as you requested. You install it to your PC and then use VNC from your pi to view your desktop.

Not when I have used this scenario, obviously you know better, good luck with finding an alternative to RealVNC.

Thanks, fruitoftheloom. You are correct. I always mixed those two VNC. This way can only duplicate the screen. It seems there is no way to make an extended screen...
