I have an Stratum NTP server with a GPS on my roof connected to a raspberry pi. I am looking for a way to have this Pi detect any upcoming storms that would potentially cause power outages. I run a home lab and although I do have my servers on a battery backup, the battery backup is not the best and it dies quickly. I am looking for a way to have my NTP server detect possible power outages and shutdown my home lab. This piece I can handle I am just not sure how to have it detect the weather patterns automatically. Any suggestions?
