Cant log in default settings

Yesterday I got a raspberry pi, with a pre-installed raspbian os. On the first boot i did not change any of the default setting. I turned off the Pi and when I restarted the Pi would not accept the default username and password so now I am locked in the login page.

You might want to seek help from who you purchased the pre-installed card from otherwise you will have to rewrite the card your self.
