Wi-fi & Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

Hi

I have received my raspberry Pi and started to set up. I have booted up the Raspberry Pi on my TV

I seem to be having two issues setting up:
1) Wi-fi
2) Wireless Keyboard & Mouse. ( I bought the wireless Keyboard & Mouse with the Pi - Xenta model)

DO you have any suggestions to help with both issues?

Apparently there are Xenta sets with and without problems (see http://elinux.org/RPi_VerifiedPeripherals#USB_Keyboards) which one are you using.
