Good Keyboard and Mouse?

Wed Dec 26, 2012 6:41 pm

As I don't have a spare USB mouse and key board. I'm trying to buy the best one for the pi. While I did see the list of parts that work, I still didn't know if they worked well? What ones have you guys have luck with? :D

I use a Logitech 120K keyboard which is only €9,95 and protected against fluid. Works great. As a mouse I use an old basic Microsoft mouse. Works great also; can't buy those anymore, but I'd just get the most basic cabled mouse from either Microsoft or Logitech.

Buy the cheapest no frills wired USB keyboard that you can find, those tend to work best.

avoid:
  • keyboards with built in keypads
  • keyboards with USB (output) ports
  • Keyboards with backlights
there is a "verified peripherals" section in the Wiki

I don't know if you are UK based if you are look for the cheapest you can find in TESCO or ASDA I think my mouse was under £4 and my keyboard was £6 ;)
Noob is not derogatory the noob is just the lower end of the noob--geek spectrum being a noob is just your first step towards being an uber-geek ;)

If you find a solution please post it in the wiki the forum dies too quick

I'm using the ASDA wireless keyboard / mouse combo that's on the list (http://direct.asda.com/ASDA-Wireless-Mu ... lt,pd.html) without any problems whatsoever.
