Omcplayer closing early

Hi guys, I am running raspbian and wanted to watch the Dr.who Christmas special on my Pi.
I tried using Omcplayer and it quit a minute in, after doing some looking I found this was a bug(?).
Is there any simple workaround?

Hi. Do you mean omxplayer?

Have you brought any codecs for use on your Pi?
They are available from the Raspberry Pi shop.
There are licences for mpeg-2 and vc-1.

If you don't have them this might be your problem.
