icon to power-off

Tue Mar 24, 2020 5:08 pm

Hello, I have added a new panel on bottom of desktop, like a dock.
I whish to add an icon to power off /reboot / logout, avoiding to open the pull down menu on the top. Like in every dock.
Any idea?
I dont want to use docks due instability; I installed then removed Cairo and wbar for the bad experience.
the system is rpi 4.
Thank you, ciao

The command is:

Code: Select all

lxde-pi-shutdown-helper
You could use the Main Menu Editor app to create a menu item with the above command then right click on the new menu item and select Add to Desktop.

Also with the latest update to Raspbian [Ctrl] [Alt] [Del] will bring up the shutdown menu.
Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated RPiOS Buster w/ Desktop OS.
