Here is a method that works with Chromium on Pi 4 and raspberry OS. Simple to install and use - https://github.com/elmiba/Teams/wiki/Installation-guide. I'm using for the same purpose as the OP for streaming online classes from kids' school. Thanks to the author of this extension for sure!
I tried the package from Github, and it worked (video call). I opted to use just the automatic installation (installer).

At the moment, I'm still trying to figure out the audio. People at the other end of the video conference can't hear me but I can see and hear them clearly.

Thanks for sharing this post.

Hi freeTheHeel ....Can you confirm whether you have no issues whatsoever while video communicating over webcam?

@Qurious - Using ArchLinuxArm and use chromium (version 83.0.4103.97) on occasion I see performance issues when communicating via webcam. Aside from that everything works as expected with Teams including video communicating over webcam. I have found that when I hit these issues if I turn off my webcam and incoming video then the problems go away. This might be solved by switching the driver being used (I am using xf86-video-fbturbo-git, using xf86-video-fbdev instead), or tweaking other options in config.txt? At this point it is working well enough for me so I don't won't to muck around too much and break it.

I can't speak to MS Teams, but I've gotten Google Meet running on a Pi4B-2 using a PiCamera v2 and a TRRS to USB adapter.
