Automating 1-10V dimmable compact fluorescent lighting

Sun Mar 15, 2020 9:57 am

I have some dimmable compact fluorescent lighting in my living room.
They are connected to a Niko 05-711

https://www.niko.eu/en/article/05-711
(Tech PDF, from page 55 in english: https://www.niko.eu/-/downloadfile/a067 ... 67011e97bf )

which is used in Mode 2: 1-button operation with several push buttons (immediate contacts).
Short press: ON/OFF
Long press: Dim up or down

I measure 12V DC over these wall push buttons. So i guess i should use some kind of relais in parallel to the push buttons to simulate such a button.

But like this i do not have feedback or am unaware of the initial positions. So i was thinking, perhaps i should also monitor the 1-10V output steering to the lights.

I guess with a voltage divider i can put that in to a ADC input ?

I am really a software guy so i have no idea what components to buy and how the schematics would look like.
But once i have that, i think i can put it together myself.

Any feedback is welcome. Perhaps my thinking is all wrong, i ll hear it from you guys !
