Blender on RPi-4 add movie gives "Bus Error", shuts down

Sat Feb 29, 2020 9:53 pm

This 4G Rpi-4, raspian Buster OS, gives a "Bus Error" and closes Blender when ever I try to add a movie strip in the video editor. I can play Full movies in video apps like VLC or MPV but even a simple clip added to Blenders video editer stops blender cold with that error.
What do I do about this?

Sorry this took so long to respond.
My Blender VR is 1.79b straight from the repos.
Update to the problem;
If I start Blender w/ the menu icon or ' blender' in cli when I try to add a movie to the editor it crashes with a " Buss Error".
However
If I start it in cli with "--debug-all" it works and I can add a movie clip to the editor.
