use pi as network bridge?

I have 3 computers I need to network together, one is has windows xp, another has windows 7 and then I have a windows 10. Can I us a pi as a network bridge so I can connect to the other two with my windows 10 machine?

All you really need is a switch, and that costs less than almost any Pi. E. g. https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=15760 or you could go "expensive" if you need GbE... https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=15762

If your win XP/7/10 have WiFi you could use the pi as an “Access Point”. See https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... s-point.md

I use several of these around the house, 5 Gig ports for $18, rock solid here. There are also 8 port versions for a few bucks more.
