[Question] Raspberry pi 2 - monitor PC stats

Sat Feb 15, 2020 12:00 pm

Hello,

I have an old Raspberry Pi 2 laying around and i recently had the thought of using it as a small device to monitor and display (with a screen) pc stats. The only real solution I was able to find is the ModBros which needs a Raspberry Pi 3 with wifi.

Obviously the majority of the data will need to be gathered and calculated by the PC, but whats the simplest method to transfer the data to the pi and display it? A couple second delay is expected and OK.whatsapp web 192.168.0.1 routerlogin

MQTT is a strong candidate for simple data transfer.
