How to install Windows 10 IoT core on B3+?

Fri Feb 07, 2020 9:29 pm

I tried downloading the Windows 10 IoT core ISO and dd'ing it to an SD card but it won't even boot. The image is ARM32 but I guess it should run on ARM64. I don't have access to Windows 10 to use the Windows 10 dashboard. So how can I flash the ISO to an SD card?

You don't say what you have downloaded but RPi images are not ISOs and you cannot expect a generic ARM build to run on a RPi. You require a specific build for a RPi. Suggest you have a read through https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 5&t=257909

As I recall, that was a requirement to run the Pi Win10 IoT system, so without that, even if you get the system set up, you aren't going anywhere with it.

Not quite, certainly not formally. But the support for 3B+ is patchy, the support for 3A+ & 4B is non-existent.
