Webmin showing CPU and GPU temps anyone?

Fri Jan 31, 2020 5:23 pm

I have Webmin running on a Raspbian lite Buster OS.

Is there a way to get the CPU and GPU temps shown on Webmin's dashboard?

This is what I use on the commandline:
for the CPU
awk '{printf("\nrPI Temperature = %.1f °C\n\n",$1/1e3)}' /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp
output -> rPI Temperature = 45.3 °C
for the GPU
vcgencmd measure_temp
output -> temp=43.0'C

Is there a way to integrate them into Webmin's dashboard?

wow, a 7-year necro..... :o

have not used webmin on the RPi servers lately
RPiMonitor probably might be better
"Don't come to me with 'issues' for I don't know how to deal with those
Come to me with 'problems' and I'll help you find solutions"

Some people be like:
"Help me! Am drowning! But dont you dare touch me nor come near me!"

Or possibly try glances (in its "server" mode):

Code: Select all

GLANCES(1)                          Glances                         GLANCES(1)

NAME
       glances - An eye on your system

SYNOPSIS
       glances [OPTIONS]

DESCRIPTION
       glances is a cross-platform curses-based monitoring tool which aims to
       present a maximum of information in a minimum of space, ideally to fit
       in a classical 80x24 terminal or higher to have additional information.
       It can adapt dynamically the displayed information depending on the
       terminal size. It can also work in client/server mode. Remote monitor‐
       ing could be done via terminal or web interface.

       glances is written in Python and uses the psutil library to get infor‐
       mation from your system.
