Compute Module 3+ 32GB eMMC boot issues

Mon Jan 27, 2020 5:43 pm

Hi All
I have been using a Compute module 3+ with an offboard ssd card for sometime now .

I need to start using the on board flash version and so have written an image to the board using rpiboot and ImageWriter.

At boot up I get the colourful splash screen but then all I get is this:-

[1] Default EFI Boot Application
[2] Shell
[3] Boot Manager
Start:-

Has anyone seen this before and do you know how to set it up so that it boots straight into IOT10 as per the off board version.

I have looked at the config.txt file , but cant see any obvious changes to be made.

Your help is appreciated

Thankyou

Regards

Mark

You'll need to go and ask Microsoft to provide support for your hardware.

They still haven't added support for 3B+, 3A+ and 4Bs so don't hold your breath waiting.

Hi Dougie
Thankyou for your reply.
I have tried a new module with Raspian and it works fine.
So its a Microsoft issue as you suggested
