Why does the wireless signal from the wifi transmitter always decrease over time?

Mon Jan 06, 2020 2:30 am

I am experiencing this situation when using the wifi transmitter for a while, every time the speed is slow, I restart the device. Let me ask why?

Some anecdotal evidence I've had this same issue over 2 different Pi 4's. The Wi-fi signal will go fine for a while and then suddenly decides to quit working. Happens in Raspbian, Gentoo, and Lakka.

As far as I know it does not. I have had many Pi communication over WiFi 24 hours per day.

Which model Pi are you talking about?

What OS are you running on there?

What are you doing and with what software on your Pi?

How are you actually measuring the network speed?
Memory in C++ is a leaky abstraction .
