I recently received my pi, and since I am having very serious keyboard input problems with Raspbian ( and Logitech Illuminated wired keyboard) I have installed Arch and it's working great.
Today a colleague, who also has a pi, reminded me that it's possible to overclock the cpu. When I got home I tried overclocking to 1000mhz only to start getting some error on bootup; I had to revert my changes to /boot/config.txt in order to get the pi booting again.
Is it possible that it wouldn't boot because I have an older version of the firmware? Is it even possible to install the firmware via arch? If so, please tell me how. I've had a look around and only managed to find how to update the software using pacman -Syu. I would do it via Raspbian, but the keyboard problems are so severe I can't manage to type "raspberry" in order to log in :/
