Installing NOOB on Virtual Machine (KVM)

Wed Dec 04, 2019 9:03 pm

Ultimately, I would like to run a public (secured) Pi-hole instance on KVM. That being said, I cannot figure out how to install NOOB on a KVM machine. I have options to install standard o/s templates like Ubuntu, Debian, Centos or attach ISO but here the downloads are in zip and then IMG formats only.

Any ideas?

Raspbian Buster ARMHF is downloaded as a .zip, which when unzipped is an.img file:

" Does your Virtual Machine (KVM) support ARM CPU Architecture ??"

Yes, but I cannot attach any file on the console except ISO.

NoobS is an installer chooser and not an Operating System par-se....

So your VM is Qemu ?
