raspbian boot error

Hello, I 'm french and I despaired ;(

After update in commande sudo apt-get update .My raspberry does not start on the system.

Here are the errors presented:

fsck died with status 4
failed (code 4)

The root filesystem is currently mounted in read-only...

I need help please

i have the same problem with faild (code 4), plase write the solution.

It looks like the SD card is munged.

Possible solutions include:

1) Doing a manual fsck in the maintenance shell on the Pi. That may fix things.

2) Doing a manual fsck in the maintenance shell on another Linux box. That may fix things.

3) Re-imaging the card. That may fix things.

4) Getting a new card or a new Pi.
And some folks need to stop being fanboys and see the forest behind the trees.

(One of the best lines I've seen on this board lately)
