Looping errors when Booting Pi.....

Thu Dec 13, 2012 9:29 pm

Just got my Pi today and loaded the SD card with Raspbian “wheezy”. Followed all the directions. Plugged the Pi in and get the Red and Green lights. Pi starts to boot. Get the raspberry on the top of my screen. Get a few Green 'OKs' and then I get a looping series of error messages.

The repeating error message is mmco: Timeout waiting for hardware interrupt. - cmd12 - lots of other error messages also.... I am not sure how long the Pi takes to boot, but it just seems to be looping endlessly..... I have let it run for over 10 minutes.

Help !

Well, after some extensive searching on this forum, I seemed to have found what might be my problem. I was using a brand new 'Class 10' 32 GB card and switched to an old tired slow 2gb Card in my camera and everything worked!

This problem has been solved.....I guess I need to find a slow Card, instead of a Class 10
