Yesterday I updated to kernel, firmware etc. version 1.20190925-2 (2019-10-10 13:55)
Today there is another one: 1.20190925+1-1 (2019-10-11 14:25)
Why? Is this some kind of emergency update? Or are these the same packages with just another naming scheme?
Was this with rpi-update? I wouldn't expect that on apt, but rpi-update always contains bleeding edge code, and its not on a regular update cycle it gets done when it need to be done. So if we find a nasty bug, just after its been updated, we could well do another release. But remember, nothing that comes from rpi-update is an 'official' release, those come from apt.
Of course, if we discover a real nasty just after updating apt, we would indeed release again.
