does anyone use Pi and Microbits in lessons?

Fri Oct 11, 2019 10:23 am

I know this is a Pi forum but i was wondering if any of you use a combination of Pi and Microbits in the classroom. I have been playing with a Pi zero attached to a microbit via serial which then communicate with other microbits via radio so the Pi can act as web server to display various sensor readings from microbits dotted around the place. It seems an interesting and cost effective way to introduce lots of concepts into the classroom.

has any gone down this path and if so any feedback?

thanks in advance

Well, I was a student that made a deal with a teacher to have kind on his own team to work with. I think a user without sudo capabilities and vnc should work for a classroom.
