Generically, "What changed since the last kernel update?"

Fri Sep 13, 2019 5:40 pm

Hi people,
I'm wondering how to tell at a high level what changed in the present kernel versus the previous kernel. After looking around for a while, all I could find were patches and differences in git. That's really a steep learning curve to figure out what's different at a higher level than each specific source file.
Anyone know a [better] way?

Thanks!

Interesting question, and one I am not sure of the answer to, except using git to list all the commit messages. We document major releases (apt stuff), but not smaller ones AIUI.

You can look at our github and get lists of commits in there.
