Hello everyone new to the forums and need a little help.
I have the RPi ZeroW and a Asus mb169b+ usb portable monitor i want to display dakboard on it. With this combo its perfect for a wall/desk and not use a lot of space. I'm not sure if it will work and if it does what software and hardware would i need to get it going. Thank you for any help.
Welcome to the Raspberry Pi forums.
ASUS say:
Minimum System Requirement : Windows 7 with 1.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 1GB RAM, Mac OS X 10.8.3* (not compatible with MacBook and MacBook Pro)
Recommended Requirement : Windows 7 with 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo or above, 2GB RAM
Video Playback Recommendations : Windows Media Player, Cyberlink PowerDVD, Core WinDVD
*Ezlink Utility software supports Window based operation system only
Auto rotate function only works under Win7 and Win8

It looks very unlikely that there is support for this device with anything other than a MicroSoft Windows Operating System. And your RPi board will not run Windows in any useful/realistic fashion.
There is a previous, inconclusive and dated forum thread on the same device here:
