Printer server on win 10 on raspberry

Wed Aug 28, 2019 8:26 am

Hello,

I have an old Dell laser color printer (1320c). As I need to print with google cloud print, now it's attached via USB to an old laptop used only as GCP server (Chrome + printer driver). Drivers sources are not available and there's not a compiled version for ARM, so no CUPS (there are threads on the topic, with compatible drivers, but no working solutions).
Of course windows drivers are available and I was wondering if windows 10 on a raspberry PI could work.
At the moment I don't have a spare raspberry available, so before buying and trying, could this be a solution (with https://support.google.com/a/answer/3179170) ?

Thank you

Francesco

It is not.

(That is, not in any practical, useable, functional form. )

The Windows 10 IoT version is not 'Windows' in the form you will require for your task.
