RasPi output via Vista Media Center?

Fri Dec 07, 2012 11:20 pm

So, Raspi has got analog video output ('cable' output) so you can use it on any old TV. Right?
Well, is there any way to hook it up to my TV Card (ASUSTek LNA Tiger) and see the output via Vista Media Center? I couldn't get it to work for the few times I tried...
(If this forum is more for hints, howto's and tutorials instead of questions please point me to where I can pose my question...Thanks)

Does the TV card have a composite input (which is the signal type from the Pi) - most do not in my experience!

Don't mix HDMI and composite if you want composite video output the HDMI cable must be removed before the PI boots.
