Pi 4B Multiboot?

Thu Aug 22, 2019 4:33 am

Got a Pi4B and a 320GB SATA/USB3.0 HD.
Looking to install multiple OSs on the HD and be able to boot into whichever one I wish at Power On.
BerryBoot looks very nice, but its not yet ready for the 4B.
Anyone know of other solutions that work with the 4B?
Thanks!

Take a look at NOOBS or PINN.

Hi all,

I recently got my RaspberryPi 4B and trying to configure Multiboot too. So far I like

So far I've tried NOOBS setup, which was really good, but the limitation was not as many OS's supported.

Currently testing PINN, the setup is a little tricky, All OS's have to be added at initial install and there's a number of workspaces (slots) that have to be added so all the partitions can be created evenly. Will hopefully have some test results soon...

I was curious what boot config you ended up with and if it supports an additional SSD using the USB 3.1 highspeed transfer?

I'm planning on adding Raspian, Retropie, KODI, Ubuntu so far.. Let's see how this goes.

You would be better off posting in the PiNN thread, it has lots of useful information, and the developer is an active participant in these forums:
