apt-get not working

I installed raspbian and then connected to my phone's hotspot. Internet is working fine but when I used sudo apt-get update then this error tis occuring.

The error clearly states (101: Network is unreachable)

So how have you tested your network can you access a web page ?

Looks like it may have been a temporary outage of the server, give it another try, or maybe try a different server, if there is one.
