this text file seems to be an executable script "what do you want to do with it"

So I created a .desktop file on my desktop.

When I click it I get 'this text file seems to be an executable script "what do you want to do with it"' message

I've tried turning on and off the execute permission. No change in be behaviour. How do I get it to NOT display the message?

File jqt901-32.desktop :

Code: Select all

[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.0
Type=Application
Terminal=false
Name=jqt901-32
Exec="/home/pi/j901/bin/jqt"
Path=/home/pi
Icon=/home/pi/j901/bin/icons/jgreen.png
