I'm interested in using a pi as a NAS, yet all the guides I've seen neglect to detail how you attach drives to a pi? I know you can connect portable usb drives but for a NAS I'd be looking to use standard 3.5inch drives. Therefore would I be able to use a usb3 docking bay? I'd power them via an external psu but I'm unsure if a pi running OpenMediaVault will actually recognise the docking bay in the first place?
