I plugged my RPi into my TV with the yellow video cable, and I can't change the resolution to see the whole screen. Does anyone know how to change the settings?

Composite video does not support changing the video mode.
For PAL you're stuck with 576i and for NTSC 480i

i.e normal TV modes.

For other resolutions you must utilize HDMI.

It will look pretty bad, but can you can make the pixels "smaller" by changing the framebuffer dimensions
