Run a program, as a service

I know its basic, but I'm running some bitcoin mining software that I would like to run as the Pi starts, and I'm thinking it needs to run as a service.

The problem is that when I type in the command manually, it seems like it takes several attempts before it actually kicks off (there's an error), so I'm not sure how to handle this on the Pi.

I could use some assistance, programming isn't my suit, and I don't use Linux/etc enough to be an expert at it (more of a Windows guy)

Anyone have a suggestion, or a solution??

You need to give more information for anyone to be able to help you

ISTR it was calculated some years ago that you will spend more in electricity costs to run the RPi than you can expect to mine.
