Only Raspbian Buster will work for RPi 4B

There is a summary of all the knowledge accumulated from these forums during the past 7 years about difficulties getting an RPi to boot, see - STICKY: Is your Pi not booting? (The Boot Problems Sticky) - https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 28&t=58151

Red LED on suggests it is not a problem with the power supply.

Which HDMI connector did you use? I believe the preferred primary port is the one nearest to the power connector.

You can check that the initial boot loader is working by powering up the Pi without the SD card. The green LED should blink 4 times.

As Fruitoftheloom said, the Pi 4B requires the Buster release of Raspbian. Earlier versions will not work.

I'll assume you are using an SD card. USB and network boot aren't currently supported. There will be a software upgrade to support that soonish.

I will Download it and further testing with Raspbian Buster and update you soon.

If the green led is not flashing then the uSD card maybe the issue.
I sometimes find the contacts get dirty, I just rub them with my thumb, the fingerprint grooves are a tiny bit abrasive.

I almost always find it is the uSD card or the power supply.

After installing Raspbian buster image in Raspberry pi 4b they work perfectly.

No type-c power supply issue.
