SODIMM Connector

Wed Apr 24, 2019 11:15 pm

Hello community good afternoon.

I am planing to use the compute module in an off road application. There will be some vibration involved.
I will use some standoffs to fix the module to the PCB but i am worried about the SODIMM connector itself. Does anyone know if there is a more rugged version of the 1473005-4 (TE Connectivity)?

Thanks for your input.

Javier.

IT's the same connector that is used for holding memory DIMMs in laptops. Would you run a laptop in your car? If yes, then a CM shouldn't be any different.
