Huawei GSM dongle used both as network adapter AND GSM

Hello,

We are using an Huawei usb dongle to connect our RPi B+ via 4G to the Internet.
Is there any possibility to also have acces to the AT commands? I would like to send also SMS via the same dongle.
When I try that the serial port reports as opened (because it it uset as network interface) and I can't send AT commands.

I would suggest going to https://community.hologram.io/ and searching through their forum. Many guys there seem to use at AT commands to talk to their modems, IE Huawei E3531 etc. I just use one of their Python scripts.
