10 Pi Devices - all have same MAC Address

Hi, I just got a batch of new Raspberry Pi 3B+ devices, 5 devices in total. We installed Win10 IoT onto them and started connecting them to our network and found that they ALL have the same MAC address. Not sure what happen but is there a way to get these fixed?

I do have some slight recollection of MAC address on IoT being all the same, but might have been dreaming...

You used to be able to set the MAC address in the registry but I cannot remember if IOT carried this through (and I ain’t going back to play)...

You do a registry check to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0001

With a key of
"NetworkAddress"

And pop the new value in here WITHOUT colons.

It may be worth checking from Powershell if you have this key in the image and either taking it out or changing it.

Technically you could have machines with the same MAC but it’s just about statistically impossible (unless the manufacturing side had a big glitch)...

Two with the same (hardware) MAC address is unlikely in such a small order, but certainly not beyond credibility. Having 5 with the same MAC address is ridiculous. I'd look to the Win10IoT software for the reason for this.

I will wager the hardware MAC addresses are different. Windows is playing silly buggers with them.

Or they meant that both the WiFi and Ethernet on each RPi also had the same MAC address, that would definitely point to being a Win10 IoT software issue.
