Wire Dotstar LED 2M to Raspberry pi 3

Hi!
I'm new to the raspberry pi, and I just got myself a LED strip. How can I place this on the raspberry pi? I'm not going to power all the leds at the same time, Max10 at a time. I think my current volt is 3, will that be enough?
