My Pi 3B+ Raspbian distribution:
Linux RP1 4.14.79-v7+ #1159 SMP Sun Nov 4 17:50:20 GMT 2018 armv7l GNU/Linux
This distribution includes awscli:
aws-cli/1.11.13 Python/3.5.3 Linux/4.14.79-v7+ botocore/1.4.70
But this is missing a needed feature, namely "aws s3 sync [path1] [path2] --no-progress
This feature might be available in awscli_1.16.81-1_all.deb from the archive, but it will not install and appears to depend on older versions of python than are included with py3.5.
I am looking for a way to proceed with awscli 1.18, without messing up the python install. Thanks.
