NAT Not Working

Sun Jan 20, 2019 5:41 am

Regarding https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... s-point.md
I followed the instructions down to looking for the access point on another computer and nothing was present except my ISP's equipment.

How does this happen? Do the update/upgrade processes deliver untested software? What should I do to make it work? Thanks.
I think these network functions should be added to Raspbian at least the large version, so they will keep working reliably, the way that hard disk recognition is now part of Raspbian.

Follow the instructions...
Did you double / triple check that you followed these exactly?
Any odd / error messages?

What do you mean by that? HD recognition is part of standard Linux kernel / drivers...

There is no mistake as I got the instruction page and terminal up on the screen so I could copy and paste each line instead of making typos.
Occasionally error messages happened, such as unable to load something, some messages in red. When trying out the advice given for errors, it just quits sooner.

It seems in this day and age software should be easy instead of every project like learning Latin all over again.
