Raspberry Pi and sc16is752-i2c

Hi, I'm trying to configure this expansion board
https://www.waveshare.com/serial-expansion-hat.htm
on a Raspberry Pi based on Debian 8.
It down't work, with vcdbg log msg I obtain this error:
Failed to load overlay 'sc16is752-i2c'
Can someone help me?

Debian 8 is Jessie which is now obsolete, and quite likely doesn't have the required kernel support for the sc16is752.
Is there a very good reason not to be using Stretch? If not, then upgrade to it.

Solved by downloading sc16is752-i2c.dtbo from the repository
