Suggestion for Raspberry Pi Press - binders

Tue Jan 08, 2019 1:01 am

Hi guys,

Currently I subscribe to MagPi, HackSpace & Wireframe, these mags are usually stored in cardboard boxes at the moment. I seem to recall in the 80's-90's when paper was more popular than online/PDF's many magazine publishers also produced binders so you could keep your collection together.

My proposal is if Pi Press also make available binders for each of the various publications (holding 12 issues per binder) it would help keep things tidy with the added advantage it'll remind readers that it's time to renew your subscription (Binder near full/renew).

Nothing fancy, just the name of the mag on the spine with the obligatory Raspberry Icon.

Anyway, just throwing it out there. Thoughts?

They did make a binder for the MagPi but this was whilst it was still an "unofficial magazine". I have one of the binders of the first 12 MagPi's at home.

We can look into this.

We did chat about various merch ideas in 2018 but focused on new launches instead :-)
