Travel bag for Pi 3 B+

Good night

I'm new to Raspberry ecosystem and I'm yet buing accesories. I'm looking for a travel bag to keep for my trips the NesPi case, two gamepads, the power supply adaptor and the hdmi cable.

DO you have any recommendations?

Having been a wargamer for a few years I've found specific cases are the best for carrying anything around but as you have a mix of bits I would look for a small camera bag with partitions that can move around using velcro, a basic case with 'egg shell' type foam or an empty case and a sheet of 'pick foam' also know as 'pick and pluck' foam to go in it.

The main drawback with the loose net style inners is that bits shake around a fair bit and I've lost SD cards out of slots before today.

I would definitely recommend plywood and aluminium clad cases. They come in a variety of sizes and shapes; camera cases, tool cases, make-up cases ( squarer ), even backgammon sets ( long and thin ).

They are incredibly robust, not usually overly heavy, and often remarkably cheap when found second-hand.

When you have a good idea what is going in the case you can cut foam to fit and cover that with glued-down felt to get a pretty good-looking result.

Just about any bag should work if the RPi is not powered in transit. I personally keep 2 RPi, 2 Keyboard, 2 Joysticks, 2 Mouse, 2 10 inch monitors, 2 12V 15Ah batteries, 2 8A 12 to 5V adaptors, a bunch of MicroSD cards, and MicroUSB power cables in one section of my grab and go backpack that has appropriate dividers and reinforcement to keep it all safe. I do use small plastic boxes for much of it just to keep it better orginized.

I also keep an 8A 12V flexible solar pannel and charge controller in that backpack so I can recharge the batteries when outside, and potentially have near infinite travel time with the RPi's.

I would recommend adding to your list a 20 foot CAT5E ethernet cable, as many game gatherings are wired only ethernet, no WiFi. And they tend to run out of extra CAT5E cables in a hurry.
