Hi everyone. I'm interested in connecting a pi (3B+) to an arcade CRT monitor. I've heard about the gert VGA666 adaptor and intend to get one.
However one thing I'm not clear on and can find no definitive answer for, is how a 15khz signal is output? AFAIK, a standard VGA connector will output 31khz, which I presume the VGA666 will do. An arcade monitor will require 15khz though. I presume this is achieved by some code? Or some other fashion?
I've searched and searched and yet can't find a solution. I've seen plenty of instances of people reportedly achieving this with the VGA666 but no explanation of how it is achieved?
Any help greatly appreciated.
