I have a mac, and I wanted to create a pseudo headless pi. I am able to ssh into my pi (static ip 192.168.1.205) when it is plugged into ethernet on my router.
I then want to try to share internet over my mac, and I plug the ethernet cable into my mac, and into the pi. It connects, and when I connect the pi to a tv and get the IP, it says 192.168.1.205
When I try to ssh that IP, it times out and wont connect. Does anyone know what is happening, and how I can find the IP of my pi when sharing ethernet with my mac?
