Raspbian 4.14.71-v7+ The fbtft module warning messag

Fri Nov 09, 2018 9:56 pm

On Boot of the latest Raspbian 4.14.71-v7+ distro

The fbtft module gets a warning message .. is this a problem ?

In my case I'm interested because I have a PIscreen2 that is not working. In lookins at the latest
fbtft on github it appears to refer to Piscreen - other people have Piscreen2 working on earlier Raspbian
distributions

I have a dtoverlay=piscreen2r in boot/config.txt that is not acted upon

It's exactly what it says: a warning.
You can ignore it.

BTW
On Boot of the latest Raspbian 4.14.71-v7+ distro
The Rapbian distro you're running is probably version 9 (Stretch)
See /etc/os-release

v4.14 is the kernel version.

Return to “Raspbian”
