Chromium Youtube no sound through hdmi

Using rpi 3 to hdmi tv, I find playing Youtube video using Chromium browser there is no sound but video is fine.
If I run Kodi and Youtube app, the sound is fine.
My own videos play sound fine in kodi and using TBO player.
I have searched the web and it is a common fault but I couldn't find a solution.
Can anyone help me please?

right clicking the speaker icon on the top right of the desktop panel, is the sound output set to HDMI?

if not, set it then do a reboot ... then check again..

I now have sound through hdmi from youtube via chrome using stretch. The only thing I've done is prepare to install freebasic..but didn't.
dunno why but happy it works.
Where are the hdmi options? rpiconfig? Thanks for reply.
